Bio

Vagelis Vossos is a Program Manager for the Energy Efficiency Standards Department. He joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2011.

Vagelis’ main focus is to provide technical support for energy conservation standards and test procedure development for the U.S. Department of Energy’s appliance and equipment standards program. Current projects include commercial refrigeration equipment and DC power distribution in buildings, while in the past, Vagelis has worked on lighting products, commercial & industrial fans, fume hoods, and circulating pumps.

Prior to joining LBNL in 2011, Vagelis was an energy analyst for EMCOR Energy Services and the City of Oakland. Vagelis’ area of interest is renewable energy and solar PV systems.
