Sanaee Iyama is a Deputy Department Leader for the Energy Efficiency Standards Department. She currently leads the technical work supporting energy conservation standards and test procedure development for electric motors and fans for the U.S. Department of Energy. Sanaee has 11 years of international experience in environmental and energy efficiency regulatory programs and projects with stakeholder consultation and participation. Prior to joining the lab, Sanaee performed techno-economic analysis and impact assessments, supporting appliance energy efficiency standards and other regulatory and voluntary programs for the the European Commission.
