Milica Grahovac

Milica Grahovac is a pioneering technical leader at the forefront of sustainable energy innovation, bridging advanced engineering expertise with strategic policy insights. With a multidisciplinary background spanning mechanical engineering and applied energy economics, she has established herself as a critical thinker in transforming future energy systems. Her research and development work encompasses renewable energy technologies, distributed energy resources, and sophisticated load modeling techniques that are reshaping how we understand and optimize energy infrastructure. She authored numerous technical publications as well as software tools such as a Monte-Carlo statistical simulator, a multi-stakeholder decision making tool, and sets of energy systems control algorithms. She is a leader in policy techno-economic and broad impacts analysis. Milica has a MSc in mechanical engineering from the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and she holds a PhD in applied energy economy in electrical engineering from the University of Munich in Germany.
