Arthur Mallet Dias

Arthur Mallet Dias is an Energy Policy Researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).

Arthur specializes in market, techno-economic, and environmental impact analysis of energy-consuming products, specifically for HVAC, pumps, and refrigeration equipment. Drawing from a mechanical engineering background, Arthur is responsible for researching inputs and developing analytical tools related to energy consumption, life-cycle costs, shipments, and national impact assessments of appliances. Before joining LBNL in January 2022, Arthur worked as a consultant implementing a World Bank-funded sustainable economic development strategy, as an energy efficiency consultant for grocery stores, and as a sales engineer in the LED lighting manufacturing industry.
