Arthur Mallet Dias
Arthur Mallet Dias is a Policy Researcher for the Energy Efficiency Standards (EES) Department at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Arthur specializes in techno-economic and environmental impact analysis of appliance energy efficiency standards for HVAC, pumps, and refrigeration equipment. Drawing from a mechanical engineering background, Arthur is responsible for researching inputs and developing analytical tools related to energy consumption, life-cycle costs, shipments, and national impact assessments of appliances within the realm of energy efficiency policy. Before joining the EES department in January 2022, Arthur worked as a consultant implementing a World Bank-funded sustainable economic development strategy, as an energy efficiency consultant for grocery stores, and as a sales engineer in the LED lighting manufacturing industry.
