On February 12, 2014 the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) published a Federal Register request for information (RFI) and notice of document availability regarding energy conservation standards for residential conventional cooking products. DOE is initiating an effort to determine whether to amend the current energy conservation standards for residential conventional cooking products. This RFI seeks to solicit information from the public to help DOE determine whether new or amended standards for residential conventional cooking products would result in a significantamount of additional energy savings and whether those standards would be technologically feasible and economically justified.
