April 11th 2014

On April 11, 2014 the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued a pre-publication Federal Register notice of proposed rulemaking regarding energy conservation standards for general service fluorescent and incandescent reflector lamps. The proposed standards, which are the minimum lumen output per watt of a lamp, if adopted, would apply to all covered products manufactured in, or imported into, the United States on or after the date three years after the publication of the final rule for this rulemaking.
